One tech tool that was often used this year, especially in Science, was Kahoot. Kahoot is a competitive multiple-choice quiz program. Basically, the teacher starts the quiz, and everyone logs on. Then, a question and four possible answers (color coded) will appear on her computer, which is being projected on the board. Then, on student's individual computers, a red, blue, green, or yellow box appears, and they have to pick the one the corresponds to the colored answers on the teacher's computer. This impacted my learning because it was a fun way to take a quiz, much more so than an average boring quiz done on paper.
