My name is August and I am in the 6th grade. I am a student at Adventure Stem. I think being an adventure students means that you are smart and that you are responsible to handle all of your privileges that other kids don't get. You also have to be very good with time management. Another important skill that you need to be an adventure student is to be very organized, which kinda of goes with time management.

My least favorite part about adventure is the homework. This is my least favorite because sometimes the homework can be overwhelming. When I have a blog from one class, typing web from another, 3 hours of practice for the band, and projects in 3 other classes. It gets really bad sometimes.

The only new thing that I saw this year were the teachers. Instead of having one teacher for social studies, language arts AND elective, we had 2 other teachers during social studies and language arts. Those other teachers were new to me, and now every period was a different teacher, the only bad thing about this was that there were never block periods, so that I had a little less time in each class to do their projects.

My favorite part of adventure is that fact that there isn't very much busywork, or work that just repeats itself to fill up time, like worksheets crammed with multiplication problems. All the class work is either working on a project or learning new things. Only math really has repeated busywork, which is ok because it is for math.

So, in conclusion, I think that adventure is pretty cool. Though they might have lots of projects, and they are very long. They almost never give you that boring busy work or worksheets. I even kind of like they fact that they have multiple teachers. Adventure is pretty good.
